Soccer Ball

My niece Emily turned 10 this past Friday and we celebrated all together at Sakura in Glastonbury.  It was Emily's pick and we had a great time.  I decided to try one of the soccer cards I've seen going around because Emily loves soccer.  The honeycomb embossing folder makes a great base for the soccer ball.  I just ran another piece of Basic Black through it and cut out inside the grooves for the spots on the ball.

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets: Banner Greetings (Hostess), ABC-123 Sketch Alphabet
Ink: Basic Black
Card Stock: Whisper White, Soft Sky, Garden Green, Basic Black
Accessories:  Honeycomb, Square Lattice, & Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folders, Large Scallop Edgelets

Ink: Elegant Eggplant
Card Stock: Smokey Slate, Elegant Eggplant, Night of Navy, Whisper White
Accessories:  Chevron Embossing Folder, Large Scallops Edgelits, Decorative Label Punch, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, Cupcake Builder Punch,

Hi Everyone,

Stampin' Up added 2 new sets to their photopolymer sets today.  I love both of them, so many ideas come to mind to use them.  I finally ordered my first photopolymer set the other day and can't wait to try it out.  Here are pictures of the 2 new sets and if you are interested you can always place an order in my online shop.

Hi Everyone!
First of all just wanted to say a big Thanks to everyone that made it out for my class last Friday night.  I had a great time as usual and it was so nice to see many of you for the first time in a few months.  In case you missed the class, here is one of the projects we made.  The dimensions on the holder are 8 1/2" x 2 1/2".  I placed that piece on my Simply Scored the long way and scored at 2 1/4" & 2 1/2", flipped the piece and scored on the other side as well.

Stamp Set: Halloween Hello
Ink: Basic Black
Card Stock: Basic Black, Gumball Green, Whisper White
Accessories: Word Window Punch, 1 1/4" Scallop Punch, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, 1 3/4" Scallop Punch, 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon in Gumball Green

Gently Falling

Hi Everyone!
Here is another Fall inspired card.  Even though I used leaves for the background, you can easily substitute almost any stamp to make the card for any occasion (think flowers, birthday cakes, pumpkins, etc.)  I used the 1" square punch to make the flag type endings (I know there must be a technical name for them, but it alludes me at the moment).  For the Pumpkin Pie background for the greeting, I used the Decorative Label Punch and then stuck it on a post it note to punch again for a smaller size.  This is a great trick to get even more uses out of your punches.  This technique even works with Framelits to get different sizes for those too.
 Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets: Gently Falling, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip, Cherry Cobbler
Card Stock: Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip, Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla
Accessories: Word Window Punch, Decorative Label Punch, Designer Button, Linen Thread

Halloween Hello

Hi Everyone!

This card was inspired by one that I found on Pinterest.  You can see the original here: Halloween Hello.  I love that she has the patience for cutting out the objects, you can tell by my sample that I don't :)  My cutting skills are marginal at best...  The stamps from the Halloween Hello set seem to fit perfectly in the Six Sided Sampler set and you get to use the Hexagon Punch too.

Supplies Used: Halloween Hello, Six Sided Sampler
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Elegant Eggplant, Basic Black
Card Stock: Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Elegant Eggplant, Basic Black
Accessories:  Argyle Embossing Folder, Hexagon Punch
