Wondrous Wreath

Hi Everyone,
I know that I talk about Pinterest a lot and get so many of my ideas from there, but I also get quite a few ideas from other stampers at a site called: Splitcoaststampers.  Not only do they have a great gallery that you can actually search for samples by stamp set name, but they have great forums to talk about all things stamping.  I've been a member for years and just love it.  Today's sample comes from a card I found on that site: Hello Fall.  I hope you find some time to look through and maybe find some inspiration for yourself.

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets: Wondrous Wreath, For All Things
Ink: Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze, Blackberry Bliss
Card Stock: Sahara Sand, Cajun Craze, Whisper White, Color Me Autumn DSP
Accessories:  Wonderful Wreath Framelits

Endless Birthday Wishes

Hi Everyone,
Today's card is from the Endless Birthday Wishes Set.  This set is not in any of Stampin' Up's Catalogs, but it is still available to purchase.  It's a really fun set and I love all of the sayings you can come up with from the words.  This card seems a little more masculine to me but could easily be changed up to be more feminine depending on your need.  I actually cased this card from someone who cased from someone else so I will link you to both: Me, My Stamps, and IStamping Rox My Fuzzy Blue Sox.
Supplies Used:
Stamp Set: Endless Birthday Wishes (Item #137553)
Ink:  Memento Black, Baked Brown Sugar, Pistachio Pudding
Card Stock: Coastal Cabanna, Pistachio Pudding, Lullaby DSP, Baked Brown Sugar, Hello Honey, Whisper White
Accessories: Chalk Talk Framelits, Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, Pistachio Pudding Baker's Twine

Mingle All The Way

Hi Everyone,
I hope you all enjoyed your Halloween.  Our house is full of candy the kids won't share, but maybe that's a good thing!  This sample was cased from: Amy's Paper Crafts.  I think I may have gotten away with the splatters a little bit on my version, but I just love the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set.  I left off the leaves on my version and added another row of washi tape.  Stampin' Up has so many great styles of washi tape, I need to use mine more often.

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets: Gorgeous Grunge, Mingle All The Way
Ink: Blackberry Bliss, Garden Green, Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie
Card Stock: Blackberry Bliss, Whisper White
Accessories: Color Me Autumn Washi Tape, Candy Dots, Stampin' Write Markers

Mingle All the Way

Hi Everyone,
I thought I would post one last Halloween sample in honor of the holiday tomorrow.  I used this sample as an idea and then made some changes: SuNN Stampin'.  It's really pretty easy to color in the letters on the stamps from the Mingle All the Way set using the Stampin' Write Markers.  I used the journaling end to be able to stay in the lines better.  The tiny bats and ghosts come from the Holiday Home set, so many fun stamps in that set!
Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets: Mingle All the Way, Holiday Home
Ink: Memento Black, Whisper White Craft Ink
Card Stock: Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White
Accessories: Stampin' Write Marker in Pumpkin Pie, 3/4" Chevron Ribbon in Pumpkin Pie

Making Spirits Bright

Hi Everyone,

The Making Spirits Bright set is such fun.  I love that they included a birthday stamp in there too.  I cased this card from: Stamp With Peggy.  I did make a few paper and color changes but it is the same layout.  I did use our Stampin' Write Markers for this card, but you could easily substitute Blendabilities.
Supplies Used:
Stamps Set: Making Spirits Bright
Ink: Memento Black, Blackberry Bliss
Card Stock: Blackberry Bliss, Tangelo Twist, Park Lane DSP
Accessories: Circle Framelits, 3/8" Stitched Ribbon in Blackberry Bliss, Stampin' Write Markers in Blackberry Bliss, Tangelo Twist and Marina Mist

Holiday Home

Hi Everyone,

Sorry I haven't posted in a bit, life has been crazy, as usual.  I have been stamping however and have a lot of great cards to share with you.  Lately I seem to be casing a lot of cards.  Pinterest just draws me in and I find such great samples that I have to try and make them myself.  Today's card comes from: Dawn's Stamping Thoughts.  I visit her blog often, she has such great projects and often has a video to help you recreate them.  I really did not change anything from her sample and the card is much easier to make than it looks.
Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets: Holiday Home, White Christmas
Ink: Memento Black, Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango
Card Stock: Basic Black, Basic Gray, Whisper White
Accessories: Homemade Holiday Framelits, 2"Circle Punch, Blendabilities in Smokey Slate, Daffodil Delight, Word Window Punch

Bright & Beautiful

Hi Everyone,

Bright & Beautiful was a stamp set that I was really on the fence about getting, but I really love it now that I have it.  I've already posted a few samples with it and here is another.  This time I didnt even use the Big Shot.  This is a really simple card that comes together quickly.  The hardest part is tying the darn bow!  I will never get the hang of bows, no matter how much I seem to practice.

Supplies Used:
Stamp Set: Bright & Beautiful
Ink: Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler
Card Stock: Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla
Accessories: 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon in Cherry Cobbler

Fall Fest

Hi Everyone,
The Fall Fest set is so cute with the pumpkin faces,  I am a sucker for any set that has a pumpkin, but for this card I decided to leave off the faces.  I stamped the pumpkins in Pumpkin Pie and then used a dauber to sponge on some Cajun Craze around the bottom and edges and stamped back over the pumpkin to give it some more dimension.  This is so easy to do with the photopolymer sets since you can see right where you are stamping.  The sentiment is stamped with the Good Greeting set, which you can earn free by having an order or class totaling $300 or more before shipping and handling and tax.  It's only being offered through the end of this month so please don't wait if it something you want.

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets: Fall Fest, Good Greetings
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze, Early Espresso, Garden Green
Card Stock: Early Espresso,  Cajun Craze, Very Vanilla
Accessories: Fun Fall Framelits, 1/4" Cotton Ribbon in Early Espresso

Wondrous Wreath

Hi Everyone,
Today I cased a great card from a fellow demonstrator named Sandra Hanedanian.  I couldn't find a copy of the card on her blog, but this is the sample I found on Pinterest.  This card shows just how versatile the Wondrous Wreath set can be.  You can use it for a lot more than just Christmas.  The door was made using the Window Framelits.  You just put the card stock in and crank the big shot until it makes the beginning cut and then crank it back so you have a straight line for the 2nd half.
Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets: Wondrous Wreath, Holiday Home, Good Greetings, Hardwood
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Smokey Slate, Memento Black
Card Stock: Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White
Accessories: Window Framelits, Wonderful Wreath Framelits, 1/2" Circle Punch, Designer Buttons, Decorative Dots Embossing Folder

Mingle All the Way

Hi Everyone,
Sorry its been so long since I've blogged but my life has been a bit crazy this month and it doesn't show any signs of stopping.  I am finding a little bit of time to stamp though and hope to get back to some regular posting to share samples with you.  I've had a lot of fun stamping with the Mingle
All the Way stamps.  With this one, I just wrote right over all of the black ink with the Stampin' Write Markers to make it more colorful.

Stamp Set: Mingle All the Way
Ink: Memento Black
Card Stock: Cherry Cobbler, Trim the Tree DSP, Whisper White

You're Wonderful

Hi Everyone,

I can't believe it's been over a week since I last posted, but my life is a bit crazy lately.  I'll blame it on the start of school!  Anyway, I just wanted to make sure I shared this great new photopolymer stamp set from Stampin' Up.  It comes with 18 stamps in the set and the flowers are just beautiful!

Bright & Beautiful

Hi Everyone,
I made several samples using the new Bright & Beautiful stamp set from the Holiday catalog.  This one uses the beautiful brushed gold card stock that is often overlooked in the Annual Catalog.  It's harder to see in the picture but it goes so nicely with the Cherry Cobbler.  The patterns in these stars from the set are just gorgeous and I love the saying that comes with it.
Supplies Used:
Stamp Set: Bright and Beautiful
Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Encore Gold
Card Stock: Brushed Gold, Cherry Cobbler

Here is another sample using the Festival of Trees set along with a new set that you can earn for free, Good Greetings.  Now through October 31st if you host a workshop or class that totals $300 dollars before shipping and handling and tax you automatically earn this set for free.  It's a great set with a great font for all of the words.  I used the Merry & Bright on this sample.  The background of this card is Silver Foil card stock that was embossed using the Beautifully Baroque embossing folder.  It was my first time trying out the foil card stock with the big shot and I love how it came out.

Hi Everyone,
New day so a new sample.   I love all of the different trees in Festival of Trees and it seems to coordinate so well with the All is Calm DSP.   Pear Pizazz is not a color I have used before, in fact I had to order it when I ordered the All is Calm DSP, but its a really nice soft green.  I think I will be picking it up quite a bit this holiday season.

Hi Everyone,
I'm so excited for the new Holiday Catalog to go live.  That happens on August 28th!  I will put the link up on my blog as soon as I can.  Its also the first day of school, so it might take me a bit, but you can always access it from the store.  I cased this card from: Amy's Paper Crafts.  I just changed it up a bit but the layout is basically the same.  I have loved the Hardwood stamp since it came out and I'm still not sick of it yet.  It really goes with so many things especially with the fall coming up.

Hi Everyone,
I thought I would try some non traditional Christmas colors with the Wondrous Wreath stamp set.   I love mixing blues with the brushed silver paper.  The brushed gold and silver paper are often over looked in our catalog but can be found on page 193.  The brushed gold also goes very well with our fall colors and tones.
Supplies Used:
Stamp Set: Wondrous Wreath

Wondrous Wreath

Hi Everyone,
I think that this might be my favorite stamp set out of the whole Holiday Catalog.  I just love it!  It's a photopolymer set with 9 different stamps in it. The wreath stamp is actually 3 different stamps that you use to layer your colors.  Stampin' Up made it so easy to line up with a tab at the top of each of the wreath stamps.  I used the matching framelits to "cut" the wreath out.  The Joy is included with the framelits as well as a Noel.  Can't wait until you all can see the catalog in person!
Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets: Hardwood, Wondrous Wreath
Ink: Pear Pizzaz, Garden Green, Real Red
Card Stock: Garden Green, Real Red, Whisper White
Accessories: Wonderful Wreath Framelits

Mingle All The Way

HI Everyone,
Here is another card using some stamp sets from the Holiday Catalog.  I "made" the background paper by using Stampin' Ups Back to Black DSP and Blendabilities.  I used the medium Pumpkin Pie Blendabitlies marker to color in all of the white on the DSP so it would coordinate better with the card.  The saying is from a new set called Mingle All The Way and the pumpking is from Fall Fest which has matching framelits!  Love it!
Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets: Mingle All The Way, Fall Fest
Ink: Black Stazon, Memento Black, Pumpkin Pie
Card Stock:  Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Back to Black DSP

Hi Everyone,

Well, I got some great new goodies from the new Holiday Catalog and thought I would start showing some samples of what I have made with it.  This is the best Holiday Catalog in years and I can't wait to share it with you starting August 28th.  I used the Holiday Home set for this Christmas Tag and this set has more than just Christmas.  It features 3 great houses ( and Framelits for them!) and a wide variety of add ons to dress up the house from Halloween, Fall and Christmas themes.  I just love this set and hope you will too.

Striped Scallop Thinlet

Hi Everyone,

I have one more sample to show you using the Striped Scallop Thinlet.  It's the same design, but this time I used the Brushed Silver card stock and Silver Glimmer Paper.  This is my favorite one so far!  I did have to use a shim when I ran it through the Big Shot to make sure that it cut all the way through.  I just love how this one turned out.  The stamp is embossed in silver which is hard to tell in the picture.
Supplies Used:
Stamp Set: Fabulous Four
Ink: Versamark
Card Stock: Whisper White, Brushed Silver, Silver Glimmer Paper
Accessories: Apothecary Framelits, Silver Embossing Powder, 5/8" Satin Ribbon in Silver, Striped Scallop Thinlet

Striped Scallop Thinlet

Hi Everyone,
I thought I would share the other sample I made using the Striped Scallop Thinlet.  I used the Blackberry Bliss on this one and I think I like it even better than the first sample I shared: Striped Scallop Framelit.  I really love the Blackberry Bliss, but boy does the ink get all over everything.  It does stain the photopolymer stamps as well.  If anyone has any ideas on how to stop that, I would love it if your would share.
Supplies Used:
Stamp Set: Fabulous Four
Ink: Blackberry Bliss
Card Stock: Blackberry Bliss, Park Lane DSP
Accessories: Striped Scallop Thinlet, Apothecary Thinlets, 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon, 1/8" Handheld Circle Punch

Festive Flurry

Hi Everyone,
I know most people don't want to start thinking about Christmas yet, but for crafters its always a good idea to get a head start since the Christmas season is so busy.  I used the Festive Flurry stamp set (Item # 131781 in clear, 131778 in wood) and the Festive Flurry Framlit Dies (Item # 132193).  While these are not listed in the catalog, they are available until August 27th, 2014 and are still available as a bundled set (Item #133285 in clear and #133284 in wood).  I fell in love with these when they first came out and still love using them.  For this card, I colored it in with the Night of Navy Blendabilites(Available August 1st, 2014).  I even used the Blendabilities to color in the Rhinestone Jewels to make them match.  The greeting was stamped using the Endless Wishes Set that was available last Christmas season and sold out so fast.  They have included it in the new Holiday Catalog and it will be available for purchase again August 28th, 2014.

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets: Festive Flurry, Endless Wishes
Ink: Night of Navy
Card Stock: Night of Navy, Whisper White, Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper
Accessories: Festive Flurry Framelits, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Night of Navy Blendabilities

Striped Scallop Framelit

Hi Everyone,

We had a great class Friday night.  It was great to see everyone who could make it and also wonderful to have a new member join us!  I thought I would share one of the samples we made using the Striped Scallop Framelit.  I have used this framelit a few times now and realized that it makes it much easier to use with our Transfer Adhesive Sheets.  That way you don't have to worry about getting it glued down.  You just peel off the back after its punched out and you are good to go.
Supplies Used:
Stamp Set: Fabulous Four
Ink: Pistachio Pudding, Baked Brown Sugar
Card Stock:  Baked Brown Sugar, Whisper White, Lullaby DSP
