Bloom with Hope

Hi Everyone,

I saw one of the nicest card made with a retiring hostess set the other day and decided to create my own version of it with the new hostess set Bloom with Hope.  Here is the original: Pandacream.  I stamped mine on vellum and then colored on the back with our Stampin' Write Markers.  The background paper of the flowers is from the Moonlight DSP Stack - I just love these papers!

Father's Day

Hi Everyone,

I thought I would share one of my Father's Day cards early.  It uses the Look up to Father stamp that is only available until June 1st.  I used markers to color the tree, grass and words so I could get different colors on the stamp.  This method would also work well if you only wanted to stamp part of the image.  It's really a wonderful tree in the stamp and one you can use over and over.

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets: Look up to Father, Hardwood
Ink: Night of Navy
Card Stock: Night of Navy, Whisper White
Accessories: Stampin' Write Markers in Garden Green, Early Espresso and Night of Navy, Candy Dots

Stampin' Up has some great hostess sets in the new catalog and the Bloom With Hope is by far my favorite.  The images will be great for using the new Blendabilities, but I wanted to use my new in color markers for this sample.  I am IN LOVE with the new Blackberry Bliss!  The picture came out a little dark, but I love how this card came out in person.

Hamburger Box Die

Hi Everyone!
I received my box of preorder goodies this week and have been having some fun playing with my new products.  I thought I would share this picture of the box I made with the hamburger box die.  It is a little fussy to put together but I think it will get easier each time, just need to go through the learning curve.  It is a small box, very cute, but definitely smaller than a real hamburger box.  I used the new fast fuse adhesive to put it together and it seems to be holding well.  June 2nd is coming up fast, you may want to put this one on your wish list!
Supplies Used:
Stamp Set: Num-Num
Card Stock: Blackberry Bliss, Whisper White, Moonlight DSP Stack
Accessories: Stampin' Write Markers in Blackberry Bliss and Hello Honey, 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon in Blackberry Bliss, Hamburger Box Die

Flower Shop

Hi Everyone,

I realized that my Tape It had never seen ink the other day and decided I had to remedy that fact.  I paired it with the Flower Shop stamp set that I cased from here: Pink Buckaroo Designs.  I decided to use Bermuda Bay (I'm just in love with this color) instead of the Basic Black.  It works with so many colors and I really like it with the Daffodil Delight.  All 3 of the stamp sets I used for this project are carried over into the new 2014-2015 Annual Catalog.
Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets:  Flower Shop, Tape It, Lots of Thanks
Ink: Daffodil Delight, Bermuda Bay
Card Stock:  Daffodil Delight, Bermuda Bay, Whisper White
Accessories: Pansy Punch, Designer Buttons in Brights, White Baker's Twine

Work of Art

Hi Everyone,

Here is another sample with Work of Art.  I just love these 2 colors together.  This time I used the Stamp-a-ma-jig to get the greeting lined up and it came out much better than yesterdays sample.  I don't know why I don't use it more often, its really easy to use.  Maybe I'm just too impatient - lol.
Supplies Used:
Stamp Set: Work of Art
Ink: Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana
Card Stock: Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana, Whisper White
Accessories: Stamp-a-ma-jig

Hi Everyone,

It's back to my newest set today - Work of Art.  I cased this card that I found on Pinterest: Addicted to Stamping.  I decided to do mine in gold, I love using the Gold Sequin Trim.  They have carried that item into the new annual catalog as well.  This set is really fun to stamp with and just has so many possibilities.  My greeting is a little crooked, next time I will be using the Stamp-a-ma-jig!

Hi Everyone,

With only a few weeks left for the Occasions catalog, I decided to stamp with a set that did not make it into the new Annual Catalog.  I've been having fun playing with water coloring and tried it out again for this card.  The background embossing folder is Decorative Dots.  It was one of the items available as a free gift for Sale-a-Bration and I was happy to see it in the new Annual Catalog.  So if you missed it during Sale-a-Bration, you can buy it in a few weeks.
Supplies Used:
Stamp Set:  Happy Watercolor
Ink: Rose Red, So Saffron

Endless Birthday Wishes

Hi Everyone!
I'm so excited!  Stampin' Up came out with the cutest new Photopolymer stamp set today.  It's called Endless Birthday Wishes and resembles the Endless Wishes set that came out around Christmas and sold out way too fast.  I think this set is super adorable and can't wait to get my hands on one!

Chalk Talk

Hi Everyone,
Chalk Talk is one of those sets that I really like but rarely use.  So I decided to go ahead and make something with it.  I love the fact that it has the matching framelits, but I did fussy cut the "something" in Pistachio Pudding.  I just love these 2 colors together, Pistachio Pudding and Wisteria Wonder, they just happened to be sitting together on my table so I used them for this card.
Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets: Chalk Talk, Petite Petals
Ink: Wisteria Wonder, Pistachio Pudding
Card Stock:  Wisteria Wonder, Pistachio Pudding, Whisper White'

Wetlands meets Work of Art

Hi Everyone,

I decided to use my 2 current favorite stamp sets together.  The large "swoosh" piece in the Work of Art set seemed to be a perfect background for the Wetlands set.  To get the lighter colors I just stamped off first with the Crumb Cake and Pool Party.  It's a really simple card to make!
Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets: Wetlands, Work of Art
Ink: Crumb Cake, Pool Party, Stazon Black
Card Stock: Crumb Cake, Pool Party, Whisper White
