Tag Topper Punches

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to share with you one (actually 2) of my favorite items from the Occasions Catalog.  On page 35 you can see the Angled Tag Topper Punch (Item # 133323) and the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch (Item #133324).  These are both great for making a quick tag or bookmark or even an embellishment to any card.  Here is a quick video showing you how they work. 

Starburst Sayings

Hi Everyone,
    Do you ever see a card and just know you have to make it too???  Well that's what happened when I saw this one: Pretty Provisions.  While mine isn't an exact replica, it's pretty close.  I hope you feel inspired to make your own version too!

Hearts a Flutter

Hi Everyone!
     Happy Valentine's Day! We celebrate Valentine's Day by having a fondue party and I need to get going getting it ready, but I thought I would post one more sample made with the Hearts a Flutter set.  This Valentine could easily be given to a man or woman and I love the colors it has, 2 of my favorites - Crumb Cake and Cherry Cobbler!

Starburst Sayings

Hi Everyone,

    We are having a snow day here, both schools and work are closed!  Yea!!! My kind of day, I love it when we are all home together.  Hopefully I will get some stamping in today too.  Here is another card I made at the scrapping/stamping day I went to at the beginning of the month.  I just love the DSP, it is part of the Sweet Sorbet DSP you can earn during Sale-A-Bration.

Hoppy Easter

Hi Everyone,
   I've been playing with the Eggstra Spectacular set a bit and this is my favorite of the cards I made.  I used Versamark ink and embossed the stamped image in black.  Embossing makes the coloring even easier.   The Happy Watercolor set has a great stamp with spots on it that provided the textured look on the Blushing Bride banner.

Masculine Birthday

Hi Everyone!

     Here's another sample using the Hardwood stamp.  It's a pretty simple card, one I thought would be great for a guy's birthday (you know how hard those are to get made!).  I love working with the Banner's Framelits and the candy dots are so much easier to use than brads are.

More Vivid Vases

Hi Everyone,

     Here we go again... More Vivid Vases.  I think it might be tied with Hardwood for my favorite out of the Occasions Catalog.  I love using my markers and the amount of coloring for this stamp set is perfect, enough that you are having fun and not too much so its time consuming.  The Hardwood background is another stamp I keep reaching for.  It's perfect for masculine cards, but as you can see on this card, perfect for some tone on tone in any color.

Vivid Vases

Hi Everyone,

     I haven't been big on embossing in the past, but lately I've gotten back into it.  I embossed this card with the new Vivid Vases stamp ( you might be seeing a lot of samples from this stamp from me, I love it!).  I also love working with the gold foil sheets that we have and gold is really trendy at the moment.  Coloring in the flowers was very easy once I embossed.

Petite Petals

Hi Everyone,

Vivid Vases

Hi Everyone,

     I made 3 cards on Saturday using the Vivid Vases stamp.  This one is my favorite out of the bunch, but I did Case it from here: Stamping with Maryann.  I just changed it up a little and love the way it turned out.  To get the shading, I used my blender pen with the Crumb Cake Ink.

File Folder Card

Hi Everyone!
  I had a great day yesterday!  I spent the whole day with my Mom and some friends at a scrapbooking day.  Since I only digiscrap now, I spent my time making cards.   Here is the first sample I will show you.  I've seen the file folder card samples all over the place, but this is the first time I tried one for myself.  Hope you like it!
