Starburst Sayings

Hi Everyone,
    Here is a great birthday card that can be used for a man or a woman.  The Starburst Framelits can be a little tricky to line up at first, but with a little wiggling they come out so nice.  I once again used Gorgeous Grunge for the background, I find myself reaching for that set often.  The embossing folder I used is Decorative Dots which is only available through March 31st.  It's part of the Sale-A-Bration promotion that allows you to pick out 1 item for free from the Sale-A-Bration mini catalog for every $50 in product that you buy.  If you are interested, please let me know before March 31st.

     Hope you are all enjoying the warmer weather we are having this weekend.  It will be nice to have our driveway melt a bit so its not such a skating rink.  Here is another Cased card, this time from: Julie's Stamping Spot.  I did make a few changes to make it my own.  I liked the Pool Party for the base card stock and left the Basic Black as the cut out for the Pansy Punch instead of filling it in with Whisper White.  I'm also not very good at bows, so I relied on my knot technique. The DSP is from Sweet Sorbet which is available free through March 31st, 2014 with any $50 product purchase during the Sale-A-Bration promotion!

Perfect Pennants

Hi Everyone!

  I just thought I would share another sample with you from last Friday nights class.  Gold is so trendy right now and I love playing with the Gold Foil Sheets in the Occasions Catalog.  Its so nice and thick and comes in silver as well.  The washi tape I used on this project is also in the Occasions Catalog and comes in a 3 pack - I only used 2 of the 3 on the project.  The little hearts are from the Fancy Foil Designer Vellum.  Stampin' Up's vellum is nice and thick and very easy to use.  Hope you like it :)

Vivid Vases

Hi Everyone!

  I had a great time, as usual, at the class last night and wanted to start sharing the samples for those that were unable to make it.  This first sample uses my 2 favorite stamps from the Occasions Catalog, Vivid Vases and Hardwood.  I've done so many projects with these 2 stamps already and the ideas are still flowing.  It's hard to tell in the picture but the Vivid Vases stamp is embossed in Smokey Slate then colored in with Stampin' Up's wonderful markers.
