Hearth and Home Framelits

Hi Everyone,
I can't wait until September 1st when the Holiday catalog goes live for everyone!  I have already posted a few samples using the Hearth and Home Framelits and the matching stamp set Happy Scenes, but then I saw this sample from Angela Lorenz and knew I had to try another one.  It was so simple to put the window cut outs together to make one big window.  I used the Wondrous Wreath stamp set and cut it half to get the boughs.   I also used some Dazzling Diamonds Glitter for the snow, but its harder to see in the picture.  I will definitely be trying this method again.

Acorny Thank You

Hi Everyone!
I've been avidly reading other demo's blogs lately to see what they are coming up with items from the new Holiday Catalog.  I saw this card from Wendy Weixler and knew I had to try it out for myself.  I used the new Woodland Embossing Folder again, I think its become my favorite.  To get the gold ribbon to bunch like it is, I just used glue dots.  It was the first time I had tried it and it's really pretty easy to do.  For a splash of color, I used the white ribbon and colored it in with my Garden Green marker, I love it that I can really make any color ribbon I want this way.

Happy Scenes

Hi Everyone!
Can you tell just how much I love this stamp from the Happy Scenes stamp set?  I love fall and pumpkins and just keep reaching for this stamp.  This time I cased from Melissa Davies, she has such great projects.  I did change up the background color to make the pumpkins pop a bit more.  The Woodland Embossing Folder is another one of my favorites from the new Holiday catalog, its just great for all of your fall projects.

Happy Scenes

Hi Everyone,

The Happy Scenes stamp set was designed to go with the matching framelits, Hearth & Home, but I think it makes a great stand alone set as well.  I just love this little scene with the trees, leaves and pumpkins.  I used my blender pens to color it in, but you can just use your Stampin' Write markers too.  The pretty DSP in the background is called Into the Woods and has several really pretty papers incuded in the pack.
